The five principles of the mafia

These principles include,

  1. Silence; no one is allowed to reveal the secrets of the mafia
  2. Obedience; the boss is superior and his orders are unquestionable
  3. Assistance; mafia members should always be there for each other

The worst mafia of 1920’s

Alphone Capone is one of the worst mafia of the 1920’s. Born in January 17, 1989 at Brooklyn New York, he rose to be popular. He was educated on petty crime. He later moved to Chicago where he survived wars by killing his rivals. Capone is famous for the Valentine’s Day massacre where his gang in disguise as police officers killed seven gangsters from the “bugs”.

Late 1920’s Alphone took dominance of the bootlegging of liquor. From it, he earned about $20 million per annum. The Chicago police always failed to capture Capone but the federal authorities did capture him. Unfortunately, he was smart enough that the only charge brought against him was on evasion of income tax. October 1931 brought with it the down fall of Capone. He was found guilty, fined $80,000 coupled with a jail term of 11 years. On his release in November 1930, he was critically ill. He died on January 25, 1947 at his Florida estate.

Another mafia of 1920’s is Colsimo, colsimo ambushes and killings earned him a place in the list of terrible mafias of the 1920’s. He indeed reluctantly allowed Torrio Capone to get into the alcohol business wholeheartedly.
